Anjali Bhat
BBX (2022-Present)
Anjali is a scientist in Biotech, with a deep and abiding love for dancing. She attended a string of Freestyle and Hip-hop dance classes as a child and has learned Indian folk styles, like Garba, while performing and competing in college. She continued to dance recreationally and tried her hand at choreography for flash mobs and stage performances for cultural events while pursuing her graduate degree at Northeastern University, where she completed her MS in Pharmacology.
Anjali has been an active member of BB since 2018. Over the last five seasons, she has taught several workshops, both independently and on BB's platform. Season 11 is her first time as a choreographer.

Neha Kumar Bhatt
BBX (2017-Present)
Neha has been dancing since she was seven and is formally trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, and Bharatanatyam. She has taught Bollywood and Classical Fusion with Arya Dance Academy and has performed throughout the Greater Boston area. In college, she minored in dance while competing across the country as a Tufts Bhangra captain, as well as co-founding an Indian classical dance team. Since then, Neha has been choreographing pieces for stage and studio with BB. This is her ninth season with this incredible community, and she’s looking forward to more!

Neha has been dancing since she was seven and is formally trained in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Modern, and Bharatanatyam. Shashank Buch
BBX (2018-Present)
Shashank discovered his love for dance in middle school through multiple stage performances. Always an admirer of the performing arts, he has continued pursuing his passions with BB. Having been a choreographer for BB for six consecutive seasons, Shashank has a track record of creating highly entertaining pieces for stage. His choreography is inspired by Western dance styles such as Hip-Hop. He dreams of bringing BB recognition for the way these styles have influenced and shaped Bollywood movement.

Bhanu is a passionate dancer, choreographer and instructor. She is a Bharatanatyam disciple of Guru Smt. Sridevi Ajai Thirumalai for the last 10 years. She is proficient in various styles of dance such as Bharatanatyam, Semi-classical, Koothu and Bollywood.
Bhanu has been dancing with BB for the past eight seasons and has been a choreographer for the past two seasons. In addition to performing for many gigs through BB, Bhanu has choreographed and performed for fundraisers including the Sankara Foundation and Manidha Neyam Trust and danced for social events like Tamil Makkal Mandram and New England of Tamil Sangam. Juilee Jadhav

Since then, she has been a part of several dance companies that have afforded her opportunities to perform globally on platforms such as EXPO2020, held in the UAE. She discovered her passion for Bollywood dance after joining the “Shiamak’s Institute for Performing Arts” where she received six years of professional training in various styles including Contemporary, Hip-hop, Jazz and Bollywood.
Having choreographed several wedding performances, musical concerts, theatrical plays, and collegiate showcases, this Bollywood enthusiast found a home in BB during her freshman year at Northeastern University. Urvashi began choreographing with BB in Season 2 and has led numerous beginner & intermediate-level dance workshops. She assisted celebrity choreographer Farah Khan on her New York & Boston workshop tours in 2020 and 2022. Little five year old Jyothsna was enamored by Madhuri Dixit's grace, power and movement. The moment she realized she could emulate her dance idol, there was no looking back. Jyothsna has been performing Bollywood dances throughout her life via annual day functions, weddings, festivals, parties and dance competitions. Her movement style is inspired by hip-hop music, strong silhouettes, powerful self-expression and, of course, Bollywood! This is her sixth season dancing with BB and her first season choreographing.
Outside of dancing, she dabbles with other forms of art like painting, mixed media, digital art and poetry.

Preeti has been a Bollywood dance performer since she was nine years old. She has won several awards for her dancing, one of which was “Miss International OSU 2017.” She also went through rigorous training in Bharatnatyam and Kuchipudi for three years before she started her journey with BB in Season 7 with hip-hop choreography. Since then she has performed various styles such as Ballet, Contemporary, Koothu and Sassy Jazz with the talented choreographers of BB. This is her fifth season with BB as a dancer and she is thrilled to debut her choreography!

Amey has nurtured a passion for dance since childhood, inspiring him to join BB in its 2016 inaugural season. Over the last seven years, he has honed his skills in a diverse range of styles including Urban/Hip-hop-inspired freestyle, Bollywood, Contemporary, Folk, and Lyrical, and has been a BB choreographer since Season 6, committed to innovating and storytelling through his work.
Amey has also cultivated a deep respect and talent for the art of sound mixing. He collaborates closely with others to produce mixes that elevate the musicality, capture the essence, and connect audiences with an entirely new dimension of live performance.

Pooja has been professionally dancing and performing on stage for over 16 years. She has trained and built her craft in various dance styles such as Hip-hop, Sassy hip-hop, Folk and Bollywood. She has played a prominent role in the company and is one of BB's veterans, contributing to the company’s cultural repertoire by dancing in 11 straight seasons and choreographing for more than five!
Pooja has a “can do” attitude and has found a wonderful balance between her professional, personal and dancing passions. She is an IT Architect by profession and spends her free time reading.

Formally trained in the classical arts of Bharatanatyam and Kathak, as well as earning a degree in lyrical and contemporary dance, Meera’s international career as a professional choreographer, dancer, and instructor has taken her from the Bay Area's Mona Khan Company to Chennai-based record label Earthsync, La Academia Nicaraguense de la Danza in Managua, Nicaragua, and Boston’s Berklee College of Music's Indian Ensemble.
Meera is now in her eleventh season as a choreographer with BB, creating 20+ pieces for the stage and conducting workshops and skills-based conditioning classes for the company over the last seven years. Specializing in Lyrical, Semi-classical, and Bollywood mujra styles, Meera’s aesthetic is stirring and evocative, inspired by the complex poetry of the human heart. Her choreography is authentic to the origin stories, relationships, and forces of nature that anchor, transform and move us.

Apeksha has been passionate about dance since her kindergarten days and began Bharatanatyam training at the age of five. She participated and won numerous dance competitions and choreographed various dance routines for her school and college. She was the Cultural Head of the Indian Student Association at her University, where she organized and choreographed multiple dances for annual Diwali celebrations. She joined BB in Season 3 (2017) and debuted as a choreographer in Season 8 (2018).
Since then, Apeksha has been creatively innovating traditional dance styles through her choreography, with a particular fondness for Bollywood and Marathi Folk. It has been an exciting journey and she hopes her choreography, dance, and the BB community continue to bring joy to Boston audiences!

She was the Dance Team Lead at her University where she choreographed various pieces and won state-level competitions. Dhara received a 100% scholarship to Terence Lewis Dance Academy right after graduation.
She believes every accomplishment starts with the decision to try. She has tried various dance forms from Kathak to Contemporary to Heels! Her classes are fun, stress-free and sassy! She works as a data scientist and dreams of building her dance career wherever the road may lead.

Anchal has been performing onstage since she was four years old and truly believes the truest form of self expression is connecting with an audience through her art. She has formally trained in Kathak for over ten years and has performed and trained with Shiamak Davar's Institute for more than seven years.
Anchal joins us this season all the way from India! This is her third season with BB after having choreographed and performed in both Seasons 3 & 7. Anchal has choreographed over eight pieces throughout her three seasons with BB and is very excited to create for stage once again!

Swati Tiwari

Swati, Founder and Artistic Director of Boston Bollywood LLC, has been trained in Bharatnatyam and Rajasthani Folk dance. She led Nazar Bollywood dance troupe from Fall 2011 to Fall 2015 through three successful annual showcases. She has choreographed Bollywood numbers for five seasons of OnStage Dance Company and has taught numerous Bollywood workshops around the Greater Boston Area. Her Beginner Bollywood class series that was started in the Fall of 2020 continues to be sold out each week.
She served as a judge at SAS (2016), New England’s biggest Bollywood Dance Competition. Swati has also served as the judge for EKTA 2023, Harvard Business School’s Bollywood Fusion Dance Competition. She has been a guest choreographer for the WOD Ensemble production at Endicott College and has guest lectured about the significance of Indian Classical dance styles.
Swati is proud to complete a half century in Season 11 by choreographing 52 pieces for the BB stage.
