Class Breakdown:
Week 1
- Intro/overview of class and bhangra dance form
- Warm up/stretch
- Start learning "core steps" (single dhamaal, taps/"down legs", dhamaal snaps, trying different arm variations)

Week 2
- Warm up, review steps from last time
- Continue learning more core steps (bedi, single jhummar, faslaan, mor chaal)

Week 3
- Warm up, review past steps
- Continue learning more core steps (pataka, chaffa, khichaan, maybe squats)

[Weeks 4-12: start putting together small choreography combinations with existing steps, plus learning a few more as we go, in different bhangra routine segments. Before each class, I will send out a video or two with examples of the type of segment we will be learning next time. Each class will still start with a warm up.]

Week 4: Sammi + Bedi

Week 5: Jodi (partner work using some Sammi/Bedi steps, with simple formations in pairs and interaction)

Week 6: Phummaniya (traditional 16-count sequence, and variations if there's time)

Week 7: Jhummar (slower, more graceful, stylized segment)

Week 8: Dhamaal

Week 9: Jugni

Week 10: Faster Jhummar

Week 11: Khunde/using props, if that's something we're interested in doing!

Week 12: Combination and review of what we've learned, maybe asking people what their favorite segment was beforehand to do one more of that type
